LCI E93 aka 2010 BMW 3-series convertible facelift spyshots

"Here are some more spy pics of the upcoming BMW 3-series convertible doing some final testing before making its public debut at the Frankfurt motor show in a few weeks.

It seems BMW is aiming for some dramatic impact for the premiere of the model given how they are still using camouflage to mask much of the front end.

Those modifications for the facelifted 3-series convertible/cabriolet include, of course, the new front bumper as well as a fresh set of headlamps, LED lights at the rear and a new rear bumper too.

Piquing curiousity will be whether BMW will be offering any new engine choices for the 3-series cabrio, something the brand has been known to do with upgrades and facelifts in order to truly put out something new.

Could BMW be considering adding its new 2.0 liter EfficientDynamics diesel with 163 hp and a consumption rating of only 4.1 liters/100 km to the 3-series cabriolet range?

We'll see what they roll out in Frankfurt."

hmm... the rear lights seem to have a bulge! and if its true it would get a wider track, id be pissed! or jealous!

I would be absolutely shocked if they brought a new E93 with an engine featuring lower output than the 328. The E93 is a pretty hefty car and in 328 guise is already longing for power

The hood where it meets the kidneys and the kidneys are the only thing different. it looks stupid....

I can't believe actual E92/3 owners see no differences.

Front and rear bumper are different as well as the grill and headlights.

and you posted the same thing with the e93 lci spyshots.. these are 99% for the original e93, why would they have the E92 LCI and the E93 LCI running around readily available for peple to take spyshots less than a week before the frankfurt motorshow? honestly.

It wouldn't suprise me if there will be some new creases in the hood, similar to the LCI sedan but with a flatter profile.
