Vacuum Leak using Torque app? + brake sensor

Hi guys,

I think i might have a vacuum leak. Is it possible to find out using the torque app? or any quick way to verify there is a problem without taking it to the mechanic?

thanks,

An erratic idle is a sign of a vacuum leak. But to confirm 100% (short of finding a cracked/punctured hose) you need to do a smoke test. Not sure about torque app.

Edit: You can try spraying your hoses with some carb/brake cleaner to see if there's any bubbling.

i didnt want to create another thread for this.. but my front brake sensor had been broken for a while now. it actually broke in half, i guess it caught on something. anyways the light has been on for probably over a month. yesterday i started my car and it didn't give me the hand brake signal. Does the light go away after a certain amount of KM you drive? ive started and driven the car another 4-5 times since then and no light.

sucks because last week i bought a new sensor. I might just install it since im getting a squeal at very low speeds which i read could be sensor related. but this is the 3rd sensor in 2 years i'm replacing so i might just not.

just thought i would share.
