Rims/Tires/ Offset
I want to get some new rims for my car. I dont completely understand how offset works, im talking to a guy selling the 313 replica rims, they are:
Front 19'/8.5/ 15mm offset Rear 19'/9.5/ 20mm offset I have a 2006 323i E90 with all stock parts, I was reading the stock rims have a 34mm offset. Would these rims fit on my car? Can someone give me some help. The guy selling them doesnt know he said they should fit on my car. Thanks in advance |

Didn't you already ask this question in another thread under the wheels and tire section and you were told it wouldn't work without a lot of modification?

Thats really aggressive, they will probably stick out past your fenders, and if your lowered they will rub very badly.

You can NOT run those. They will stick out WAAAYY TOOO FAR unless you like the fat sqautted wheel sticking way out past the wheel well look. Spacers will NOT help you as the spacers will LOWER your offset and worsen the offset problem. You need to actually grind away about 2 cm of the wheel (0.75 inch) in order for you to get the appropriate higher offset of + 35 in front and ~38 in back. The HIGHER the offset the closer to the center of the body of the car the wheel will sit. Offset is relative to the center of the wheel and a higher number means the center of the wheel is shifted inward relative to the wheel hub at the expense of outer wheel lip.
In short,...move on DO NOT BUY THOSE....too much of a pain in the ass to make them work. just my 0.02 |

These are fairly aggressive fitments and will require some stretched tires as well as elbow grease to work. This wont be a direct bolt-on fitment if that was what you were looking for.
You'll need to run a 225 tire to clear the outside fender. The rears will require a 255 or rolled fenders on a 265. -Charles@VMRWheels
