340i exhaust on a 330i?
Hey I’m in Australia and own a 2018 F30 330i M Sport. Not a fan of the single side dual exhaust and would prefer a more symmetrical design. Was planning on
putting the OEM 340i MPPSK exhaust but they’re almost impossible to come by in Australia. Based in peoples opinions and reviews I’ve decided to settle with the AWE Touring Axle Back exhaust made for the 340i. This is my first car so I do have a few questions that may be pretty stupid haha. - Will valves stop working once I replace the stock exhaust to the Axleback exhaust? - The AWE exhaust is 3.5k AUD (2.3k USD). Is this appropriate for an exhaust or can I expect to find much better ones at this price? |

Wow, that's extremely expensive for the AWE touring! Must be hard to come by in australia, it's only 1395 usd here in canada. That's still 1900 canadian for an axleback though and I really didn't feel like it was worth it from sound clips i've seen online. I decided to just grab a 340i muffler for 150$ locally and get a resonator delete. Perfect amount of sound for me, enough to hear the car when driving but not enough to wake up the neighbours.
As for the valves, I believe you just need to swap the valve actuator from your current car over to the new muffler. |
