VRSF 7" or Active Autowerke Sport

What are everyones opinions? Is it worth it for a cheap intercooler at $419 or would I just be better off with Active Autowerke's sport version for $650?

I can't speak for the VRSF IC but I have the AA sport and I like it. Install was easy with a minimal amount of trimming.

AA products are great. I'd go with them.

I just did my VRSF DIY today. A lot of trimming but it fit really well and I'm satisfied so far. Definitely go 7"

OP, I think you're talking about the 5", not the 7", correct? The 5" is $420 and the 7" is $450.

If your car is only lightly modified and you don't drive it too hard, nor plan on driving it hard, stick with the 5". It's a cleaner install and you don't have to worry about cutting up anything.

If you're willing to spend $650, I would look into the Wagner Evo 1 that HPA sells. It's a direct fit and is a very nice unit.

Yes $450 correct, I was planning on having a shop doing the install and paying the extra $300-400 to have it installed.

That's a lot of money. Shop around. I think you're getting ripped off.

That was a rough guesstimate in my head, how long does it take for an intercooler install usually? $200-300 sound more around the right range?

The Sexiness of the VRSF 7" (iphone pic) right after install. The 5" will not be that noticeable. So if you want sexiness spend the extra $60 and go 7".
