My 335i

Hey all, I purchased a 2010 e92 335i xDrive a few months ago (my second one, the one i traded in was a 2007 e92 335i). I work at a BMW dealership, so when I saw this car come through, I just had to have it.

2010 335i xDrive Coupe
Alpine white/Brown Saddle Dakota Leather
Dark Burl Walnut Trim

M-Sport
Cold Weather
Premium
Navigation
Premium Sound (Logic 7)
M-steering wheel w/paddles
iPod and USB Adapters
Sat Radio
Anti-Theft Alarm

The car came with every feature checked off except comfort access (boo, i actually enjoy that feature lol)..but regardless..I have been contemplating buying a new car but have decided I am satisfied with this one and I will be keeping it, so naturally, the mod bug bit me.

A week after I had bought it, I had the BMW Performance Exhaust thrown on because the original owner had cut out the original tip on the original exhaust and made them 4" (not a look i like). I also transferred over my BMS DCI intakes and black kidney grilles from my previous car. I purchased the BMW Carbon fiber spoiler to add a nice contrast in the rear with the diffuser being a dark color as well along with Venture Shield (clear bra over the front bumper/hood). All maintenance had been up-to-date at my time of purchase, even carbon blasting which is why I have decided to start modding.

Now this is where it has gotten fun. On thursday of this past week, I ordered VRSF 7" FMIC (w/upgraded lower charge pipe), VRSF 3" downpipes (w/o2 simulator, stupid MA emissions testing), JB4 G5 chip, Evolution Racewerks Chargepipe, Forge Diverter Valves, BMS oil cooler valve, and new BMS dci intake cones.

I have a master tech at work who i am good friends with who will be doing the work on my car (i trust no-one else). So everything will be delivered by Sat 2/14, so that is when my real fun will begin. I also learned that the previous owner put in m3 control arms, upgraded control arm power bushings, the alpina transmission tune, and billet batmo compressor wheels within my turbos. So essentially, it seems like the previous owner was preparing the car for the increased power but never got around to it (he ended up buying a 2014 335i xDrive M-Sport).

Planned upgrades past these include bmw performance rear diffuser, cf front splitters, 19" CSL-style rims with Michelin pilot supersports, drilled and slotted rotors all around with track-ready brake pads and brake fluid. I enjoy keeping the car looking as stock as possible, with a little extra flare, but I want it to look like it came from the factory.

Here are a couple pictures of her!

I know after these mods I will just look for more ways to get more power! (it never ends haha)

And thanks, BMW power after all! Couldn't agree more with your signature pic, unfortunately Massachusetts drivers are god awful lol

We are twins, my car looked like that when it was stock. What part of MA you from? And M3 control arms on rear only right?

Very nice ride. The 2010 E92's are the best E92 Pre-LCI's IMO, because this was the last year that the N54 was available. Your car already looks great the way it is but she'll look even better with all those mods. Btw its good to see that your trying to take the OEM+ route!!

The first two pics are my fave. Thanks for sharing!

White just looks too good on the e92s! I am from Methuen (right on the NH border) and fortunately 20 min from Turner Motorsport and yes, really technical, they are rear m3 guide rods.

Thank you! Ya, personally I just enjoy keeping oem look with a few extra touches either from BMW performance or changing like (for example) to black rims from the e9x m3. Just keeps it looking like it was ordered that way haha don't like to stray far from the BMW design!

It does! I'm in Springfield area. I really wanted to upgrade my rear to M3 as well after I get some coils.
