Software Updates, done automatically?
Hey Guys,
You've probably heard about how Tesla "provided software updates to all of their cars via satellite...". I was wondering if BMW does the same thing? Imagine if BMW did this and surprised us with *positive, good* software updates without us knowing... -Tony

Allegedly they do. There used to be an exploit where you could trick the car to connect to a fake cell tower and access it using connected drive services. It was on the news, that BMW patched the vulnerability remotely. It's probably limited to critical fixes only,
