She is here!

Finally arrived at the dealer today!

I will try and take some screen shots from the video.

Looks like quite a few cars have come in together on this forum this week!

Much coolness . Ours must have been on the same boat then. Pick up for me is next Tuesday, which seems slightly cruel having seen it in the flesh today

That is cruel. I might be able to pick up this Saturday but my wife is being awkward about it! She would rather go and do some dress fitting for he sisters wedding! What the hell is that all about!

Right... Managed to take some screen shots from the video the dealer sent me of the car arriving. Not the greatest pics but will do till I get her in my hands!

Alex is looking after me. Wasn't expecting a video to be sent of the arrival! Nice touch though. Looks like they are pretty busy there this week with plenty of new cars arriving .

Unfortunately they did mess up with the rear badges still being on the car. Something went wrong even though it's on the order form. They say they can take it off easily. Deep down though I'm worried about the paint being taking off with the heat gun!

They know what they are doing, don't worry about the paint!

Alex was my guy! He is great - friendly but professional and he had plenty of time and patience with my wife and I during our collection on Tuesday 4th March, even though it was during their busiest week of the year. He also sent me a video which I must have watched 20 times over whilst waiting the final week or so!

Please say 'Hi' to Alex from me and let him and TRL know I recommended them through our PMs. Alex might not know me as 'brommy' but he will remember collecting Mr and Mrs K. from the station and our EB 335d with our initials on the plate. A fantastic service with a 'can do' attitude.

I will let them know you say hi and want some extras for your next car!

But they are a great team there that really seem to pride themselves on great customer service.

Happy to give them the deal!

Agree about their team. My wife commented that the atmosphere inside the dealership was better than the others we have visited, but that might be because I wasn't haggling - something she has to walk away from when I'm in full haggle mode. They pride themselves on their service and the results of their customer surveys (as do all dealers with varying results). They will do their very best with any issues.

Glue melting temperature is way lower than painting melting temperature! No need to worry!

Well the car came into the dealer yesterday afternoon and I can collect it tomorrow morning!

I think I'll forget about sleeping tonight then!

I saw mine at the dealers today up on the ramps getting its PDI. For those that think the wheel gap on X-drives in big, you should see it when there is no weight on the suspension
My dealer has kindly put large 'Do not wash' signs in all the windows.
Only annoying thing is having to wait until Tues to collect
