Lightbulb Amp settings?? help required

Hi All

Thanks in advance to anyone who has the time to comment:

What would be the best settings for my JL xd 400/4 AMP? Ive spent hours on the forums but cant find the info as most seem to be for xd 600/6 - perhaps should have got that one!! but do I use the same settings??.
I have the f30 base stereo set up and I am going to power the rear focal ifbmw-c speakers and then keep the underseat oem woofers parallel connection to the front focal 100 vrs speakers (tweets housing acquired). Would someone kindly suggest settings for my amp -

PREOUT - 1&2?
REMOTE LEVEL - ALL?
INPUT MODE - 4 CH
1&2 FILTER MODE - HP?
1&2 FILTER FREQ - ??
1&2 INPUT SENSOR - ??

3&4 FILTER MODE - ??
3&4 FILTER FREQ - ??
3&4 INPUT SENSOR -??

Many, Many Thanks !!!

As for the front speakers it's not a good idea to run all of them parallel. Thus you can't use any filter of your amp and your woofer + Focal mids get the full frequency range, which is not good.

I'd use the 4 channels of the amp for the front speakers: 2 channels for the woofer & 2 channels for the Focal mids/tweeters (they have their passive x-overs).

If you want to power the rears too, then I'd use a 6 channel amp.

yep, unless you want to leave a set of speakers out of the system (not counting the evil Center channel on the HiFi system), these cars are six-channel systems when they are done correctly. Unless you are experienced running wires through your car (to separate the parallel front setup), you may want to seek out a pro.
