Shop telling me I need new DME

I bought my f32 435i a week ago and since then it started having a rough idle and went into limp mode and won’t start now. Originally it had codes for
P3160
P3151-cylinder 2 high pressure injector high side shorted to coil
P3148- cylinder 1 high pressure injector high side shorted to coil
P3163-cylinder 6 high pressure injector high side shorted to coil
P3160-cylinder 5 high pressure injector high side shorted to coil
P3154-cylinder 3 high pressure injector high side shorted to coil
P3157-cylinder 4 high pressure injector high side shorted to coil
P10d9-fuel pressure rail sensor stuck
Upon replacing the fuel sensor the car still wouldn’t start and the shop I took it to is now claiming I need a new dme any ideas?

Check if your coils are good. Since they all seem to have an error code, there maybe something common to all of them. Could be the DME ground, engine master ground, etc

Could try to re-flash the DME firmware or update it.

Maybe worth to also download ISTA+ (ask for it in another thread in this forum) and use a $10 ENET cable to do a proper check.

Here is something similar. Tells you various diagnostic options:

Thank you I got the dme reflashed and it starts now but seems to run a little off now and when I accelerate it makes a certain whining noise any ideas?

Hard to tell without being able to read live data or seeing hidden error codes.

Did you download ISTA+ (ask for it in another thread in this forum) and use a $10 ENET cable to do a proper check?
