manual vs automatic steering wheel
trying to buy a new steering wheel for my 2016 f30 320i (automatic) from ecs but their website says their steering wheels are for manual cars only. Wanted to know if I can buy the steering wheel for manual car and still install it on my auto? will everything still work? i dont care about the paddles.

You can install the manual wheel on an auto car that came with paddles, but you'll obviously lose the paddle functionality... Everything else will work though. Would make a lot more sense to just buy the right part for your car i.e. a wheel designed to work with paddles.

If it’s the sport wheel I believe the only difference is an additional drilled hole for the paddles, which can be done by yourself.
