It is so much better looking than the e90. The e90 never worked for me, the f30 sure does, the Z4 looking front looks hot.

My perfect combo would be the Sport line without the tacky red trim or the Modern line with black interior... I don't want to be relegated to buying the Luxury line just for black seats.

Thoughts?
Modern w/ black interior exists

I couldn't agree more. The fact that I NEED to have the red trim on the sport line kills it completely. I just hope that in the M-Pack I can choose to take the blue trim off, otherwise I'd be very mad.

I agree with your comment regarding the "racer-boy" Sport Line red inserts. I've been trying to configure, using the BMW.uk website, the classic BMW look, a Luxo-Sport car. [To the world, the BMW brand-!!] I'm not into spending money trying to reconfigure a Luxury Line to achieve a Sport Line look by inserting, shadow-line trim, sport wheels and black headliner. Hopefully BMW will expand interior choices for the Sport Line by offering, the North American market, additional leathers and trim choices. Example, Luxury Line's Saddle Brown and Black leathers. BTW the Modern Line is not doing it for me, IMO the black interior looks like a design school experiment.

That's what a lot of people have been saying since the beginning....it's just not appealing from most angles....I've owned 3-series models all of my life, sedans and coupes and when my lease is up I dunno what i'm going to do....such a shame....may have to get a 5-er

Upon further review, I'll start with the base model and build-out what I want.

looks nice! The trunk does have some cues from the 5GT. I'm sure a duckbull trunk would look fantastic on the F30, along with some 3pc Forged wheels, Msport package, and drop

Nothing stopping you from getting a "No Line" F30. The Sport, Modern and Luxury are add-ons to the standard 3er. If you don't like the lines, you don't have to get one and you can mix-and-match the colours as you desire. Maybe it will end up slightly more expensive than getting one of the "lines", but at least you'll be happier with the way your car looks overall.

You don't have to take the red trim... You can chose whether gloss black trim w/ red underlining or brushed aluminum w/ black underlining.
