Harrop Supercharger kit
I’ve decided to move back to natural aspiration after 3 years and 50k thrilling supercharged miles. The kit will be coming off my car in early May and be available for local pickup in the Portland metro area. It will include the fuel injectors with 10k miles of use. You will need fresh OEM spark plugs, coolant for the intercooler, and a tune from BPM or elsewhere. The kit is in perfect condition and not due for an oil change for another 50k miles. A new kit is currently 12.5k. This one: $8k, local pickup.

If this were posted 6 months ago, I probably woulda purchased on impulse, lol.
Just curious - any specific reason for reverting back to NA? No need to defame your own post, just mostly curious. The Harrop is the end-game spec IMO, seems like it'd be a hold-forever mod unless parting the car out. |

A fine question. In November I picked up a 996 turbo 911. The Harrop supercharged e90 will require a lot more modifications to compare with that forced induction platform. I’ve decided that car will be my FI ( it’s already pretty great stock) and I want to return to the s65 as it’s meant to be enjoyed, revving out to 8300rpm regularly to wring out every part of its potential. Plus the chassis of the e90 wasn’t designed for 500whp so that creates some track dynamics that are unfavorable. |
