New guy!
Hey fellas,
I've been running around these here parts of the forum for awhile now and just figured I'd finally introduce myself and my car so I can start posting instead of just reading. 2007 VW GTI 6spd w/Jetta Front swap A few HDR shots: 11:30pm at the S/R of Best Buy ..and the group. Why am I here? I'm a car enthusiast and thought it would be helpful to me and others that I run through the popular car forums to learn more about the specific models n such. And of course, is nice to see modified E90 sedans. EDIT: More pics at the bottom. Last edited by md80tom; 01-20-2008 at 11:32 PM.. |

Woah crazy pictures! Everything almost looks CG (seriously, I'm having a hard time believing it's not, lol). I love GTIs. Drove a friend's GLI with the DSG recently, that thing shifts hellafast.
Welcome to the forums.

Nice rides and photos.
I love the GTI...but as an aside, I have found that the GTI rides rather high. Sometimes I see GTI with aftermarket wheels but no suspension drop and it looks much too like a mini-Toureg. |

Nice. I thought the reason why the GTI rode so high in NA (versus Europe) were due to collision regulations in the US...did they change rules or something?

spacedog, it was because of collision regulations. I'm not sure why VWoA allowed the eurospec springs to be on the 08 GTIs. Maybe because the new .:R32s come with lowered springs? meh.
and nice pic ^^^! |
