Performance Center Delivery Experiences

Hey Guys!

BMW noob - I ordered my FIRST BMW several weeks ago (Feb 27)!! Woo hoo!! Details in signature (328i).

How were your experiences? Worth the wait?

Can I still go even if I have my car delivered to my local dealer (i.e. can I still take part in the driving course?)? I just found out about PCD - 2 account mgrs said it was too late since my car is in production. Waiting on CA to email another guy at the Performance Center to see what he says...

What should I bring other than my iPod and sunglasses?! : )

. Found this on YouTube for you to watch. I was planning on taking advantage of the Performance Delivery Center, but I couldn't wait any longer so i bought my 340i from the Dealer lot.

You can definitely bring your own camera. Place them inside our outside of your choice.

As long as the car can still be assigned to the proper ship they should be able to make it happen. The car needs to be on a boat going to Charleston, SC.

BMW 101 is what you do after the fact, but your dealer has to pay for it. PCD is only free if you actually take delivery there. The 'fest has an entire forum dedicated to PCD.

Ideally true but you can truck to the performance center from NY/NJ if you decide to change your mind to PCD during mid transfer on the water. Did this for a previous ED car.
