Any good Apartment Renting Website?

been searching and searching on the web to rent an apartment in NY Queens, and can't find a good site that has a good collection.. Can someone recommend some? Maybe I shouldn't use the web? will newspaper be better? By the way I am looking for an apartment that I can stay for a long time (maybe for the rest of my life) Thanks for the help and tip.

It may seem like the obvious choice, but have you tried Craigslist.org? (http://newyork.craigslist.org/que/)

Scroll through their listings... realtors, management companies, and people all post their. So a lot of their listings are from other rental sites, so you can probably branch out to other sites from there. But if you haven't tried it, thats the best.

Not sure abt what's best for NYC, but I'm in northern NJ and used rent.com in my search. Was pretty good w/pics and stuff. There is just too much crap to wade through on CL..it's annoying. Apartmentratings.com is also good if you want reviews on buildings.
