not sure about matte black, I'll have to check with my paint specialist about that one. I don't even know if Crayola makes a matte black but i can get you into an aquamarine or burnt sienna with no problems.

power increase is about .04 hp but depends on how hard you can blow into the grilles and your lung capacity (hey its more than the AFE intake right?)

personally i think the homemade shit as you call it is a better design than any of the others out. and it seems to be more thought out as well mayb it doesnt have a cool logo or some nice red powdercoat but i think it is better . have fun drilling

and you are exactly right... calling peoples hard work is bunk, so it bitching about the prices of their hard work and so is making a home depot version of them when the person who did all the hard work spends all the money testing/developing them and other people make cheaper shit and then sell them for less and use the other guys proof they work to make sales.

I would not buy rpi's no matter what price im not drilling shit into my car or paying 200 when they dont even make them in house that means its even cheaper. what does R&d cost on making a shovel ? buy what ever you want but dont say dswoops scoops are some cheap shit from home depot like he is making those bends on a vice and shit.

do you think i care if you buy RPi's scoops? I don't. R&D on a shovel is probably as much as you want it to be, but the more R&D you do, the more reputable of a product you'll have. This other dude isn't even allowed to sell them on this forum legitimently... how is this even an argument?

You missed the point of a company trying to become reputable by spending money on these things and getting a legit vendor to buy his products to sell them. Not some cheap operation (whether they are cut on a million dollar machine or not) that doesn't have any research or dyno info of its own ( he probably sells them out of the back of his car)

maybe we should strap those things on our cars... it'd be more of a legit project than Mr. McSwoopy or whatever the hell his name is.

RPi's prices might be higher but thats just cuz he decided to make a product and do it the right way... unlike this other "swoopy" or should I say "shady" operation.
