I saw a hatchback like that in space gray driving around, in Los Angeles with manufacturer plates, it looked very nice, i tried to take a pic on my phone but it didnt turn out good

Too cheap to ripoff americans....very affordable, streets will most likely fill with it once offered.

i saw one too, at the victoria gardens in ontario. I drove right by it. it was just parked on the street. my friend saw it first and we were both like WTF?

1 series costs here in europe as much as a 3 series costs in the US. You guys get the da*n cars at almost half price.

Uses a lot of 3 Series parts, and as said, costs as much if not more than a US 3 Series in europe

Yes, you can see its a M Sport by the different bumper and wheels

Check out the latest Car & Driver. It's got the 135i pictured on the cover, recommended for the 2008 model year, (along with a few other Bimmers).

Which is exactly why I said its too cheap to ripoff Americans.....cause the 1 Series will be priced low, possibly in the 20-30k range. These are good in countries where the 3ers is not very affordable (a 328i coupe in Malaysia cost approx USD93k ..I wouldn't bother paying that much for a car)..but not in the US.

Basically, they rip you off any extra income you have, then make it even more difficult to buy anything nice for yourself. Be happy we live in America!
