Scratched wheel

My wheels got scratched when I hit the curb, so upset at myself .

Besides going to the dealer or shop, can anyone recommend a do it yourself repair kit? Has anyone used the 1Z Einszett products from autopia-carcare?

thanks!

I just had a wheel refinished at the dealer; most dealers have a wheel guy that comes out weekly to refinish wheels. Alloy wheel repair is a franchise business that is usually in all major cities and many of these are the same people that the dealer uses. You won't be able to tell the difference from new.

Regarding 1Z Einszett products, I use several of their products on my cars. They make very high quality car detail products that many high end detailers use on high end cars. I actually use their 1Z Einszett's ColourTec wheel clear, which is very effective on BMW brake dust. SONAX also makes a similar and very effective wheel cleaner for hard to clean brake dust. Autopia, Auto Geek, Detailer's Domain and Autoality are all excellent vendors that sell both products.

+1

I did the same thing and went to Alloy wheel repair and like others said, can't even tell it was ever damaged.
