Harold Wood aka Roger Lighterness has been sketching up and photoshopping various BMWs for some time now, and now has come out with an interesting take on the next generation MINI.

Nothing is yet known of what the next MINI will look like, with only expectations of a car that will be very new and unique.

Testament to that fact is the recent shuffle in BMW’s design department that has seen the head of BMW Exterior Design, Anders Warming move over to become director of design … CONTINUED

Here are some really nice high quality high resolution wallpaper style photos of the new MINI Countryman done by AC Schnitzer. AC Schnitzer is of course known best for their wheels, and for the Countryman, ACS has chose to go with a 19″ wheel setup, the first time a wheel larger then 18″ has been used on a MINI of any kind.

After having seen the Countryman at the Paris Autoshow, I fell in love with the car. Its a car that needs to be seen in person to truly appreciate. It seems that MINI owners are also seeing the light, as we present to you yet another countryman that has made its way into an owners hands. This time in light white. Check it out!

The first MINIFORUM owner to take delivery of his Countryman so far is polojankins. His particular example is a beautifully setup black on black number that has me loving this Countryman more and more. I was lucky enough to see this car in the metal back at the Paris autoshow, and in person its a perfectly proportioned car, true to the MINI brand. But now in black, it adds an extra bit of ‘mean’ to the traditionally happy MINI brand. Congrats polojankins!… CONTINUED

Taking a quick aside to the MINI stand, we find the MINI Paceman concept car, a two door version of the Countryman which BMW would ideally position relative to the Countryman in the same way that the X6 is positioned to the X5. Not half bad.

MINI Connected is breaking into new ground by now having 3rd party apps available for download for all 2011 MY MINIs. Makes sense, why waste time messing with your phone, when you can have the same app available right on your car’s screen. The first app to be available is appropriatly going to be the Pandora music app. The app will give you the full resolution Pandora display and allow you to create new stations or look at the album art in high resolution.

MOTORINGFILE/BIMMERFILE is breaking the news tonight. MINI has released images/details on their newest concept car dubbed the Paceman. This car is exactly what it looks like, a two door countryman. Think of it this way, the Paceman is to the Countryman as the BMW X6 is to the X5.

The paceman is more sporty compared to its countryman counterpart not only by the loss of two doors, but the car has a 20mm lower roofline and runs on 19″ wheels.

According to Motoringfile, there are as yet … CONTINUED

The TUNE IT! SAFE! initiative by the Verband Deutscher Automobil Tuner e.V. (VDAT)
impressively shows the future of tuning with its sixth campaign vehicle – an electric MINI in Police
Look. Every year since 2004, a special concept car has been presented which meets both the
high demands of tuning fans and maximum safety standards.
The campaign, supported by the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development,
shows that the yearning for individualisation can continue to be met in the future.
