Here is a single profile photo of the upcoming 7-series which shows both the standard 7 and the long wheelbase version.
It is true that over the years, the current 7-series went from ugly duckingling to pioneer, with many industry leaders eventually copying the infamous bangle-butt. But flattery aside, it is evident that BMW will not repeat that design language and is moving into a more flowing type of design.
Many industry reports have already signaled the front end design of the new 7-series will follow the BMW CS design presented in … CONTINUED
motiv online-magazines photo tour of the BMW M3s on display at the Essen Motorshow 2007
The first prototypes of the next generation BMW 5-series aka F10 have hit the roads in Munich. While they are heavily armoured in order to hide the design details, the proportions of the cars are obviously pure BMW
Theres nothing that unexpected here, M3 face and body, combined with the E93s folding hardtop. Although some people have asked for a soft-top for the performance advantage, I dont think the new V8 engine will have any problem at all with the little extra weight of the hardtop. Whats more interesting to see is what kind of extra body reinforments are made to the car to handle the extra power and performance demands. We want a rigid car!
The controversially styled Hamann M3 bows at the Essen motorshow, the traditional stomping grounds for German tuners. Take a peek and judge for yourself.
The BMW E90 facelift is just around the corner and here are the first pictures online.

Autoexpress is reporting today that BMW may bring back the Isetta. Many of you may remember this as Urkels car. In fact, for its time the idea behind this car was to be a small urban mobility vehicle similar to the Mini, or more likely the Smart car range. With increased awareness and drive towards smaller more fuel efficient vehicles for city use, the idea of BMW bringing back the Isetta is not that far off. Of course many of the original cars design qwirks would have to be lost … CONTINUED
The BMW V-series. Doesnt seem like the most brilliant naming scheme (it could be confused with the engine designation), but there are multiple reports about this new lineup, these reports have been verified by the BMW brass, and new test mules were spotted around the road and track.
The international media is reporting that although the mule pictures below looks very similar to the X6, this is more of a “crossover” vehicle that will mix the elements of a sedan with the extra comfort and and luxury offered by larger SUVs. … CONTINUED
Famed BMW Tuner AC Schnitzer finally takes on probably the most important task for the company in recent memory. Namely, applying their tuning skills to the new E92 M3. So far the optical results seem to be top notch, hopefully the drive and performance follow suit.
