Ok, you guys be the judge on this one.
This is a new “performance” knob from ACS which introduces the concept of a large red lighted number to tell you which gear you are in.
ACS claims that as of now, determining which gear you are in is based off of feel; but with this new knob you get a visual display and its “cool”.
On the positive side it should be very simple to install and fits all BMWs and Minis.

One of our members Daniel N recently caught this BMW X5 with a large hood mount testing in Michigan. This car has been speculated by most everyone as being a hybrid version of the X5 with technical monitoring equipment resting under the large hood mount. Most notable about these pictures is that the car is cruising around Michigan so it seems we are in store for some hybrid BMWs on US shores in the near future

First off, we were picked up at the Airport by Greenville Marriott. We were treated like Kings, I loved every minute of it. My friend Pat and I were treated to a very nice dinner, inside the Marriott, covered by BMW.
Next morning we wake up, to yet another meal covered by BMW. A great breakfast, with omelets made right in front of us. We were then taken by the Hotel to the BMW Performance center where our day of fun started.

This project started the first week on November. And many of the ideas has been taken from the BMW MOTORSPORT Z4. The things I didnt like on the motorsport version was; The front, so we did our own. And also the huge gap between the wheels.This kit is made of glassfiber and its wided TOT 100mm.
