It’s been speculated that BMW will introduce a version of the F25 X3 which has been breathed upon by BMW M GmbH. The rumored timetable for the X3 M release is sometime in 2012, although no prototypes have yet been spotted.

Rumors of BMW considering V6 engines have been floating around for quite some while now. One possible future application often mentioned when talking about such an engine is the upcoming F80 M3 (F82 M4). The BMW X6 LCI (facelift) is coming next Spring and we bring you photos which preview the coming changes. Consistent with BMW’s recipe for subtle facelifts, the X6′s mid-life refresh will bring revised and more aggressive front bumpers without fog lights. We’re happy to bring exciting news on the next generation M3. The next generation M3 sedan / M4 coupe will be designated the “F80 M3″. Along with this news comes word that the F80 M3 will indeed return in sedan form (already spied in testing)! The BMW F80 M3 Sedan will likely have its market launch in summer 2013, uncharacteristically before the F82 M4 coupe.

Just spotted performing testing on the Nurburgring is the upcoming special X6 M model, which will come in with an even higher power output than the standard X6 M’s 555hp.

The power increase is expected to be subtle and will remain under the 600hp mark. There will also be changes to the car’s weight and significant changes to the overall feel of the driving experience.

Taking a page out of their multi-lines strategy for the F20 1-series hatchback (which has the Sport and Urban Lines), the F30 and F32 3 series will also be available in multiple “lines” options.

A new BMW brake pad package shows the appearance of a new model – “M550dX”. This new F10 model could feature the long rumored tri-turbo diesel engine. According to Scott26 (quoted below), it’s going to be an all new engine and will be available on all BMW models in the upper segments by next year.

The BMW i3 and i8 concepts have been revealed online, but BMW i is not done. According to Scott26, the BMW i4 and BMW i5 are the next models to come out from BMW i.

Is the X-coupe concept from 2001 being revived and being studied for possible production? Yes, according to Scott26. With the Porsche Cajun and Land Rover Evoque small SAVs hitting (or scheduled to hit) the market, BMW is said to be considering an X-coupe type car with which to compete with.
