Here is a very insightful post by BMW insider Scott26/27 who mentions that an iS version of the X3 is definitly fair game, especially in the USA where such a model could find itself in some demand.
BMW have high hopes for this Sport Activity Vehicle that the design department are working on a iS Specification model with an Aerodynamic pack reminiscent of the new Z4 iS. The front bumper in the Autoweek design is what you will see in the actual car but for the iS the openings at the brake ducts are more open and feature the bar across the intake. The rear … CONTINUED
The psychadelic equiped camod next generation BMW 1-Series (chassis code F20) was seen in early December starting out cold weather testing and now a month later continues heavy testing.
Not much is known about the next generation 1-series, but what is known is that BMW sees this car as a core vehicle to its lineup in the future. Potentially, this car would be as important to them as the 3-series and so similar coupe and sedan variants are on the table. Even a stretched wagon varient has been rumored at one point. And dont forget the recent rumblings (make that guarantees) about an ///M variant arriving for the current 1-series, it seems a sure … CONTINUED
The first teaser image of the upcoming BMW M1 has surfaced on 1addicts! The small image shows a beefy front bumper sculpted in latest M-style, with huge air inlets for engine and brake cooling. According to insiders, the M1 will be unveiled in a unique matte finish, after being tested with many different matte finishes (sepang bronze, white, etc.). Colors options will be plentiful, ranging from the current M colors to updates of past M colors, and even an Inka Orange color (from the 2002).
BMW continues testing the X3 but doesn’t yet want to pull of anymore camo so once again we see the black and white psychadelic camo and not much else. Like the X1, the proportions look good and this should end up as a very nice upgrade to the current X3 when the car is finally released.

Time marches on and the F10 BMW M5 continues its cold weather testing ahead of its scheduled launch for 2011. To recap, this car is expected to utilize a turbo charged V8 engine derived from the motor used in the X5 and X6 M. Power outputs are still unknown but I would bet on it being higher then that of the X5/X6M. Other M5 Spy pictures can be seen here.

Car Magazine has published pictures of the M1 undergoing cold weather testing in Scandinavia. While the guys at Car Magazine are assuming that this is a mule for the next gen 1-series coupe (F2x), its safe to say this actually is an M1 prototype. Why? The very same car was spotted around the BMW M headquarter in Garching (near Munich) before: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=311113
The sister publication of Autobild "Allrad" has a new Huckfeldt interpretation of the forthcoming BMW X3 Sport Activity Vehicle. As of all the publications who have created illustrations of the X3 , This interpretation stands out as the closest to the production car which this time around will be built at BMWs Spartanburg plant in South Carolina.
Taking as many of the characteristics from the E83 and refining them such as the rising glasshouse towards the rear of the car coincides with a sloping coupe like roof at the rear quarter this brings the X3s characteristic rear quarter light a better resolved solution allowing it to be smaller and more shapely. The visual appeareance of the car adds more muscle to … CONTINUED
We believe this to be an F30 3-series in testing, though Autocar claims it as a F30 body on top of the future 3-series GT’s mechanicals. According to them:
First 2011 5-series spotted in Milano Beige, a color not usually very eye catching, except that it sits on the F10s beautiful sheet metal.
