This is my own first personal experience watching a review by Totalcar, but I have to say I loved it. The location, video footage and general hoonery is very Top Gear like. The presenter really hits on all the important themes and answered alot of my own questions about the M5 while having fun at the same time. By the end of the video, you can tell this car has really grown on the presenter and I think that says it all
The first reviews of the all-new 2012 BMW M5 have been full of praise (click here for an overview). Yet, some enthusiasts continue to pine for one thing – a manual transmission option. As reported before (and confirmed by an earlier set of spyshots), BMW will again offer a manual transmission for the new M5, likely for the US market only.
This new photo of the interior of a manual M5 unveils some subtle differences in the center console. The shifter itself seems to be fairly short … CONTINUED
We’ve all seen plenty of photos of the new 2012 M5′s imposing biturbo V8 S63Tu engine, which produces a whopping 560hp. But what exactly are we seeing when we peek under the hood of the F10 M5? Here is an explanation of some of the components seen on the S63Tu engine, as well as how they work together.
Buried in the monstrous new press release on the new F10 M5, we noticed an interesting new feature called “Active Sound Design.”
Behind this marketing term is a fairly simple idea. The new M5 reproduces the car’s engine sound via the in-car audio system. In other word, if you’re sitting inside the car you not only hear the engine but also an audio track of the engine based on throttle input, speed, and engine rev. As BMW puts it, this makes for better feedback as you hear … CONTINUED
Watch the first 2012 M5 (F10) publicly recorded high speed run, where the F10 M5 easily hits 300kmph (187mph) on the Autobahn. It’s a delight to see the speedometer climb so quickly, but also mad fun to hear the engine and exhaust noises as it rockets into the triple digit speeds. Video inside!
Here’s the very first look at a production Imperial Blue Metallic F10 M5 (although it could also possibly be Azurite Black Individual which is also a dark blue/black color). Imperial Blue Metallic has a beautiful metallic blue hue to it when illuminated and is the darker of the F10 M5 colors. This particular 2012 M5 joined ///M Flight, an M owner’s club in Germany, this past weekend. Club members were given rides in the new monster 560hp M5 and got up to 187mph … CONTINUED
The 2011 Frankfurt IAA represents the F10 M5′s general public reveal and BMW has strutted out not just the typical Monte Carlo Blue launch color, but also in Moonstone (Individual color), and Alpine White. It felt like ///M heaven walking into the M area.
There was also a Monte Carlo Blue M5 being used to drive around the BMW track in the exhibit hall, as well as the F10 M5 Safety Car.
The Alpine White M5 was paired with a gorgeous Sakhir Orange interior with black piano trim, … CONTINUED

M-Power.com visited him in Singapore and chronicled the event, which leaves no doubt he’s a car fanatic.
Just to name a few cars Benjamin owns, the following report … CONTINUED

Besides the individual brilliant white metallic exterior paint, the this M5 also has other individual options, such as the black painted mirrors and wheels. The red leather interior looks great set off against the white and black exterior color scheme.
As for not having blue … CONTINUED
