BMW Australia recently had its 2012 M5 F10 press launch (although one of our Australian members has already taken delivery delivery) and have released this video showing some track footage from the event.
AC Schnitzer has revealed its ACS5 M5 Tuning Package ahead of its debut at the 2012 Geneva Motorshow next week. The ACS5 package features both cosmetic and performance enhancements.
The F10 M5′s already potent S63Tu motor receives a power increase (via ECU tune) to 620hp / 790Nm (582lb-ft) torque. The growl coming from the M5 is enhanced via the AC Schnitzer twin sports silencer with valve control, with its chrome tailpipes.

EVO Magazine’s Chris Harris’ video review of the BMW F10 M5 has now been posted, following his initial print review.

Behind this marketing term is a fairly simple idea. The new M5 reproduces the car’s engine sound via the in-car audio system. In other word, if you’re sitting inside the car you not only hear the engine but also an audio track of the engine based on throttle input, speed, and engine rev. The 2012 M5 (F10) will come in a fairly extensive choice of colors, including some beautiful individual exterior color options. One of the individual exterior color options is Brilliant White Metallic, which we’ve spotted hanging out at BMW M HQ in Garching, Germany.
Besides the individual brilliant white metallic exterior paint, the this M5 also has other individual options, such as the black painted mirrors and wheels. The red leather interior looks great set off against the white and black exterior color scheme.
