A bright yellow probably wouldn’t be our first choice of BMW Individual colors for an M5, but if you’re trying to get noticed in Qatar, where chrome wrapped cars are not out of place, this color choice makes more sense.
The exact color is Atacama Yellow, which was first introduced on the Limited Edition Design Pure Impulse Z4 for the UK.

Here’s the very first look at a production Imperial Blue Metallic F10 M5 (although it could also possibly be Azurite Black Individual which is also a dark blue/black color). Imperial Blue Metallic has a beautiful metallic blue hue to it when illuminated and is the darker of the F10 M5 colors. This particular 2012 M5 joined ///M Flight, an M owner’s club in Germany, this past weekend. Club members were given rides in the new monster 560hp M5 and got up to 187mph on the Autobahn! The 2012 M5 (F10) will come in a fairly extensive choice of colors, including some beautiful individual exterior color options. One of the individual exterior color options is Brilliant White Metallic, which we’ve spotted hanging out at BMW M HQ in Garching, Germany.
Besides the individual brilliant white metallic exterior paint, the this M5 also has other individual options, such as the black painted mirrors and wheels. The red leather interior looks great set off against the white and black exterior color scheme.
As for not having blue brakes, it’s probably because it’s not a production M5, but a factory test car.

The 2012 BMW M5 made its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed which is taking place this week in the UK. Along with the F10 M5 was the 1M coupe on display, as well as a bevy of other BMWs and other generally cool cars.
