We visit the BMW owned Munich dealership from time to time as it contains some of the most interesting models you will see on any BMW showroom floor, with new cars regularly rotated in. It’s especially a fun place to see BMW Individual models in all sorts of colors, leathers, and trims.
The past few months have featured several Individual E9x generation 3 Series, including Enzian Blue, Graphite Blue, Lime Yellow, and Mandarin 2. Check out some photos below.

Even the most efficient internal combustion engine can only convert about one-third of the energy derived from fossil fuels into the mechanical kinetic energy needed to power a motor vehicle. Over the past few years BMW EfficientDynamics has made great improvements in engine efficiency, for example with technologies such as direct fuel injection, variable valve timing, exhaust-driven turbochargers, brake energy regeneration and the Auto Start Stop function. However, about 60 percent of the generated energy is still lost, half of it being exhaust heat, with the remaining half as heat absorbed by the engine cooling system. Finding ways of recovering this lost heat energy is one of the major goals being pursued by engineers working on BMW EfficientDynamics for the future. That is why the BMW … CONTINUED

BMW UK has launched the first commercial for 1-series M coupe, which recently went on sale in England. The commercial features a valencia orange 1M coupe on some empty twisties in the countryside poised to swallow up some tarmac, followed by some serious driving. Here are some new renders of the next generation 2012 F30/F32 3-series coupe and sedan. Like the current generation, the coupe and sedan will continue to sport unique designs. The next generation 3-series is expected to grow slightly in size and wheelbase, but feature even shorter overhangs to preserve its sporty stance and style. The front fascia is expected to become more upright, consistent with BMW’s latest design language seen in the current Z4, F10 5-series, and F01 7-series.
The F32 3 series coupe is expected to share some design elements with the new 6-series coupe, such as sculptured flanks, low roof line, and possibly the turn indicators located under front headlights. It will also have wider and lower kidney grilles than the current E92 coupe.

This Mototrend matchup shows just how far the Mustang GT has come and how impressive the 2011 5.0 model is. This comparison would have been a joke just a few years ago, and you may be be surprised by the results. M3 still wins, but not by as much as BMW fans would naturally guess (or like).
