It’s still quite new on the market but already has many admirers: In February, the new BMW 3- series was launched officially. Now the smart, energetic Bavarian is winning even more hearts at the international Motor Show in Geneva – helped by the tuning specialists at AC Schnitzer.
The Aachen-based experts from AC Schnitzer help the 3-series make an even more impressive appearance with a performance upgrade for the BMW 328i. An extra control unit allows it to deliver 217 kW/ 295 HP and a maximum torque … CONTINUED
The M Performance Parts party continues. Just minutes after our Live Gallery of the F20 125i equipped with M Performance Parts, BMW has published the full M Performance parts catalog to coincide with its official release/announcement at the 2012 Geneva Motorshow.
M Performance Parts carry the M name because they have been developed together with M engineers for both performance and aesthetics enhancement. This collaboration with M engineers began just last year. This is what sets M Performance Parts apart from what used to be called simply … CONTINUED
Some days ago, BMW has officially announced the M Performance Parts lineup for the F30 3 series (and the F10 and the F20). Today, we’re happy to share more information on the M Performance Brakes. Thanks to E90Fleet for this information!

Perhaps the 3 Series GT (F34) has sportier intentions than most would expect. If the retractable spoiler spotted on this F34 prototype for the first time is any indication, BMW expects the 3 Series GT to be driven with plenty of gusto and not relegated to only people and cargo hauling.
As seen clearly in the photos below, the spoiler is retractable and not fixed. When the spoiler is deployed, we can see the trunk cutout for it to slot into when retracted. Like other … CONTINUED
Aftermarket tuners and fabricators are wasting no time in customizing and modifying the F30 3 series sedan. LTBMW has certainly wasted little time in customizing the look of their barely two week old Melbourne Red F30 335i. What you see inside features the following mods:
Front license plate bracket delete
Front bumper reflector delete
Painted rear diffuser
Custom lowering springs
5mm spacers all around
The terrific photos are by site member jzhang.

With the 3 series traditionally having the largest aftermarket support of any BMW model, it usually doesn’t take long for the first aftermarket parts to become available. And one of the first parts are usually suspension components.
H&R has now released its F30 springs application for the 2012 328i and 335i sedan. The lowering springs come in two varieties — Sport Spring and Super Sport Spring, with the latter being a more aggressive lowering.

New commercial spot for the 2012 BMW 3 Series (328i) – Description: The all-new BMW 3 Series comes with Efficient Dynamics which means 0-60 in 5.9 seconds and 36 MPG. Which means this Ultimate Driving Machine has all of the performance you expect from a BMW along with the fuel economy you might not.
Now that the F30 3 series sedan has been released, testing continues on all the other F3x variants – the F32 coupe, F31 touring, and this F34 Gran Turismo (GT) model.
These photos provide the best look yet at the trunk, tailgate, and rear portions of the roofline. The 3 Series GT prototypes previously wore heavy camouflage paneling concealing the true shape and styling of the trunk. The loss of the rear deck camo has shortened and tightened the car’s size and proportions.
With its sleeker trunkline and … CONTINUED
We bring you the first dyno results from a 2012 335i (F30) sedan, performed by Challenge Mfg. USA (GTM_Challenge) on their recently delivered 335i. The F30 335i is powered by the N55 6-cylinder TwinPower twinscroll turbo engine and its factory quoted power figures are 300hp / 300lb-ft.
The 335i N55 dyno run resulted in 270whp and 273lb-ft torque. Note that the dyno was performed on a AWD Dynojet with linked AWD rollers. On a normal rear-roller-only system the numbers would be slightly higher (probably 5-10hp) given the … CONTINUED

The next 3 series variant to make its debut will be the 3 series touring / wagon (F31). We’ve now spotted it with virtually no camouflage remaining. Combined with the recently revealed F31 rear design patent CGIs (images inside), we now basically know how the F31 will look when it makes its debut at the AMI auto show in Leipzig in early June (for a likely market debut in the Fall).
Unlike the F11 5 series touring, the new 3 series touring model will make a return … CONTINUED
For a long time, motorists regarded air conditioning merely as a guarantee of a cool workplace when behind the wheel. During the early 1980s, the optional extra was predominantly ordered as protection against the midsummer heat inside the car, true to the motto: the heat has to stay out, irrespective of how hot the sun is. The greater the “refrigerator feeling” experienced by occupants was, the more effective an air conditioning system was considered to be.
However, over the years, consumers have changed their attitude and the … CONTINUED
