Watch the gauge clusters (speedometer and tachometer) of the 2012 328i and 335i accelerating side-by-side in full out acceleration runs from a stop. Gives a good idea of how the two compare in terms of acceleration.
We’ve also added previously posted videos of our experience with the two models from the BMW press drives, both at our own hands and with the skills of professional BMW drivers Joey Hand and Bill Auberlin.
F30POST member Dan once again shares with us some DIYs for the F30 3 series. This one includes instructions for one of the first modifications any BMW enthusiast makes – replacing the factory front bumper reflectors and/or whiskers, usually to be replaced with body color matched versions.

Although the variance from the E9X chassis is slight the gents at 3D Design needed to develop a aero line that was simple while bringing a more aggressive presence to the new flagship vehicle.

So sorry folks, we don’t mean to cry wolf, but upon closer inspection we believe that this prototype is actually the 3 Series GT.
With some of its rear camouflage removed, it revealed a sleeker hind roofline and rear, which gave it the appearance of a fastback/coupe-sedan, which we mistook for the 4 Series Gran Coupe. We apologize for the mistake.
The silver lining is that the 3 Series GT is looking sleeker/sportier than ever.
