G-POWER officially announces the full details and specs on its F10 M5 Bi-Tronik III package for the 2012+ BMW M5. Here’s the skinny on the M5 Bi-Tronik III:
640hp (+80hp over factory M5)
573lb-ft torque (+72 over factory M5)
0-100kmh (62mph) in 3.9 seconds
VMAX removed to up top speed to 315kmh / 195mph
Stainless steel sport rear muffler with “Deeptone” technology (4 x 100 mm tailpipes)
G-Power carbon ceramic braking system (up to 396 mm discs)
21″ Forged Silverstone RS and Silverstone Clubsport wheels (3 piece)
265/30 and 305/25 ZR rated tires
BMW tuner G-Power has announced on our facebook page. Their Stage 1 F10 M5 and F12/F13 M6 kit is good for pushing the V8 bi-turbo S63Tu engine to 640 hp / 575 lb-ft torque (780Nm) .
This is a +80hp / 74lb-ft gain over the new M5 and M6′s factory 560hp / 501lb-ft torque.
The G-Power F10 M5 tuning program offers:
G-Power Stage 1 tune – 640hp/780Nm (575 lb-ft) with VMAX removal. Good for more than 310km/h (192mph)
Quad stainless steel sport exhaust system
400mm Carbon Ceramic Brakes
21″ Forged Silverstone RS wheels (3 piece)
Compare this to PP-Performance’s F10 M5 Stage 1 tune which yields 620 HP / 553lb-ft.

Since its recent European market introduction, many a M5 fan has been waiting to see the tuning potential of the new F10 M5 and its beefy 560hp bi-turbo S63Tu engine. The first F10 M5 ECU tune has now been released, by the German tuning company, PP-Performance.
They were recently able to crack the factory ECU and their Stage 1 tune added:
Gains: +60hp and +70Nm (51lb-ft) torque
New total output: 620 HP / 750Nm (553lb-ft) torque
The price for the stage 1 tune has been set at 3,499 € (euros). Their Stage 2 tune is already in the works, so expect even higher modified numbers from the F10 M5 soon.
With tuners already achieving 750hp with the S63 motor from the X5M/X6M (such as the Manhart biturbo M3), expect the same … CONTINUED
