Two F15 X5s were just spotted during transportation in a cargo plane and while their exteriors remain camouflaged (previously revealed exterior photos below), we get some nice clear looks at their interiors.

As seen in previous spy shots, the F15 X5′s features a multi-layered dashboard design look and is both more driver-centric and upright compared to the current X5′s dashboard.

You can see the black panel display gauges, large free-standing navigation/infotainment LCD screen and new iDrive Touch system.

The US will receive the following models in the first model year: sDrive35i, xDrive35i, xDrive35d, xDrive50i. All of these models will begin production in August 2013, except the xDrive35d which begins production in December 2013. The European models are listed here. Nearly a month ago, we spotted the first non-black F82 M4 coupe prototype (in Silverstone) on the road (reposted below). We’ve just spied a Silverstone F82 M4 testing on the Nurburgring, wearing M Carbon Ceramic Brakes. This prototype doesn’t reveal any new physical details, but we do have a new technical detail to share.

We were recently told by a high-ranking BMW M official intimately familiar with M3/M4 development that the engine powering the M3/M4 will feature a nearly 8000 RPM redline. As we’ve reported all along, the M3/M4′s S55 engine will be an inline 6 cylinder with mutiple turbos, outputting around 100 lb-ft more torque and approximately same horsepowers as the current M3 (S65) engine. For comparison, the current M3 engine redlines at 8400 RPM. … CONTINUED

Yes, a comparison of the M235i against a 435i M Sport or potential M435i would be a more appropriate comparison, but there are no revealed photos of the 435i M Sport (and no photos of a potential M435i). This is just to provide our members with a comparison of the 2 Series vs 4 Series’ general shapes and looks.

The angles on the spy photos also don’t match up exactly, but we will post another visual comparison once we have official photos for both models.

With the central aim of addressing the handling of the BMW M5 and M6, today marks the release of an all new competition package for the entire M5 and M6 lineup.

Now before you say anything, this is not merely a cosmetics package, but a package which seems to really tweak the car from top to bottom with a nod to the driving enthusiast in all of us. Being that most of the complaints directed at the M5 and M6 so far have been directed at its handling and steering feel, BMW has directed most of the upgrades to these departments. There is of course a small requisite power bump which shaves an additional 0.1s off the 0-60mph time, but the upgrades to the suspension and … CONTINUED
