We’ve seen the next (G30) generation 5 Series touring out on the public roads before, but the prototype has now ratcheted up its testing by taking to the Nurburgring.
At this early stage of testing with heavy camouflage, it’s hard to discern much of the exterior and interior design. But, the front grilles are now semi-visible and the hood cutline appears to have shifted to meet the kidney grilles, just as on the next generation G11 7 Series.

Congrats to BIMMERPOST member G8r3Series for being our first reported M235i picked up via Performance Center Delivery (PCD).
The 2 Series Convertible (F23) is coming at the beginning of 2015 and we’ve got photos a M235i convertible in nearly fully uncovered form.
The US market will receive the 228i, 228xi and M235i convertibles. Production of demo/dealer models will begin this November and customer cars begin in January 2015 (per the 2015 model year schedule).
We’ve spotted the BMW M4 Convertible (F83) dropping its top for the warmer Spring weather at the Nurbrugring.

The first F30 3 Series facelift / LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) prototype has just been spotted! Due to start production in the Summer of 2015, the refreshed 3 Series will undergo minor exterior changes as the photos show. A Yas Marina Blue F80 M3 sedan was spotted in NYC recently, where it was captured in some photos and videos by a BIMMERPOST member.
The driver was kind enough to rev the M3 a bit for the camera.
BMW has unveiled the BMW M4 MotoGP Safety Car, which looks to preview a host of carbon fiber M Performance Parts.
The M4 Safety Car will start its service during the MotoGP season start at Qatar in 16 days.
We’re here at the 2014 Geneva auto show which officially kicks off tomorrow (press days). The big debuts expected here are the 4 Series Gran Coupe and the 2 Series Active Tourer, but here are some initial looks at the 2015 BMW M3 and a clear M4 construction model.
