The F10 5-series has often by called a baby 7-series, especially since its size has grown over the outgoing E60 5-series. Just what is the size difference between the current 5 and 7 series? Lets have a look.

AC Schnitzer has unveiled its full F10 5-series performance and cosmetic program, consisting of ECU tune, brake and suspension upgrades, wheels, and various aero and interior dress up parts. Full details and photos inside.
Insideline has strapped a 2011 535i onto the dyno. This is the first we have seen an F10 5-series on the dyno and its N55 motor produced 277rwhp / 283lb-ft torque, translating approximately to BMW’s claimd 300hp / 300 lb-ft torque figures for the 2011 535i.
Edmunds Inside Line has taken the F10 2011 535i out to the track for some testing. Here are the video and performance results they managed to achieve with the 535i. Performance measures recorded include 0-60 time, 1/4 mile, slalom speed, skid pad lateral acceleration (G’s), and braking distance.
Unsatisfied with the tamer look and sound of the factory split dual exhausts of the 2011 535i, 5POST member Lacster has gone the aftermarket route and replaced the stock exhausts with a quad tipped exhaust producing a more aggressive sound and look.
Japanese tuner 3D Design has released its F10 5-series. Upgrade parts include a front lip spoiler, rear trunk spoiler, roof spoiler, black grills, rear diffuser, and 20″ forged wheels. Quad tip sport exhaust system is also available for the 550i and 535i.
The 2011 F10 5-series is available with BMW new Night Vision option, part of BMW ConnectedDrive, allowing F10 owners to see objects in the dark up to 900 feet ahead of the vehicle. This is the first video we have seen of it in action in the F10 and it’s pretty slick.

The F10 5-series has been in owner’s garages for just over a month, but 5POST members have already started to tinker and work on their new cars, starting with the fundamental but important oil change. Fifth Gear reviews the F10 535i, with a focus on the F10′s technology – namely the surround view/park assistant, ConnectedDrive, and 4-wheel steering. As for the 535′s overall performance, it’s called fantastic and silky smooth with a fabulous chassis. Overall, they feel that the car is brilliant and the best mid-exec car money can buy.

5POST member Lacster’s 535i has received a proper professional photoshoot, courtesy of resident photo guru Jzhang. This is the most modified F10 we have witnessed so far and the tasteful modifications combine for a more aggressive, yet classy F10. Modifications include lowering springs, blackout grills, CF trunk lid spoiler, aftermarket wheels, painted reflectors and vinyl trim, and tint. Check out the photos inside!

We knew it wouldn’t take long for 5POST members to begin customizing their F10 5-series… and so it begins! Here are teaser shots of Lacster’s F10 with new wheels, lowering springs, grills, painted reflectors and vinyl trim.
