We bring you the best live video look yet at the BMW F32 4-series/3-series in motion. The video shows the F32 from various angles settings around several locations throughout Munich.

Despite the heavy camouflage you can see a very sleek and sporty design. As usual for BMW coupes, there are frameless windows and a B-pillar for structural rigidity.

We expect the F32 to get the same engines as the F30 3 series sedan – the N20 4-cylinder turbo engine in the 28i and the N55 6-cylinder turbo … CONTINUED

Reactions to the F32 coupe spy photos and videos we’ve posted so far have included some complaints that the F32 looks too long or has lost its sporty proportions. We beg to differ.

We revisited the earliest E92 coupe test prototype photos from back at the end of 2005 and we’ve posted below a comparison of the F32 coupe at this early stage camouflage compared to the E92 coupe during its early stages of testing.

Scrutinizing the photos, it’s easy to see how a camouflaged coupe appears overly … CONTINUED

After the first F32 coupe photos, we now bring to you the first spy video of the upcoming BMW 4 Series (or 3 Series, as name change is not yet confirmed) coupe out testing in Munich.

The live look provided by a video always provides the best perspectives because we are able to see and perceive the physical aspects (size, proportions, transitions, and scale) of the car in one continuous moving view. Seeing a car in motion among other cars and natural elements also provides the most … CONTINUED

The first F32 4 Series / 3 Series coupe prototypes were spotted for the first time ever just last month. And although it appeared in heavy camouflage, we’ve attempted to envision what the production form may look like underneath.

In producing the following images, we started from a real life F32 spy photo (attached below) and combined it with some elements from the F30′s styling, along with some educated guesses and imagination sprinkled throughout. We’ll be able to better assess the accuracy of the image’s detailed styling … CONTINUED

We’re happy to share the best spyhots of the F32 4 series coupe to date. Days after the first ever spotting of the F32 4 series coupe, our spies have caught another F32 prototype, this time in white.

Compared to the recently unveiled F30 3 series sedan, the 4 series coupe will have a more muscular and sleek appearance. The shoulder line at the rear quarter panel is more pronounced and the roofline lower. These shots also allow us a better look at the shape of the … CONTINUED

Taking a page out of their multi-lines strategy for the F20 1-series hatchback (which has the Sport and Urban Lines), the F30 and F32 3 series will also be available in multiple “lines” options.

The 3 lines expected for the next gen 3 series sedan (and perhaps “4 series coupe” if the name change comes to fruition) will be a Sport Line, Modern Line, and Luxury Line (actual final names may differ, we’ve also heard Sport Line, Urban Line and Deluxe Line as the possible names).

These optional … CONTINUED

The next generation 3-series coupe and cabrio are said to possibly be receiving 4-series badges, splitting up for the first time the 4-door and 2-door versions of what has always been called together, the “3-series.” These are some new speculative renders courtesy of Autobild.

According to a new report from Autobild, BMW is considering reordering the nomenclature of their model lineup for consistency. If this happens, all sedan, wagons, and GT’s will get odd numbers. All coupes, convertibles and Gran Coupe’s get even numbers.

In other words, the successors of the E92 3-series coupe would become the 4-series coupe (F32), the E93 3-series convertible a 4-series convertible (F33). BMW had similar plans for the current generation E92 and E93 3-series but got cold feet for several reasons. Now the successful introduction … CONTINUED

Here is a new rumor regarding the next generation F30/F32 M3′s powerplant – that a 3.3L V6 tri-turbo motor is a possibility! One turbo would power the motor generally, and the other two turbos would each be dedicated to 3-cylinders each.

Here are some of the clearest shots yet of the F34 3-series GT in testing, from some different perspectives than we’ve previously posted. We must say, the F34 GT looks much better in motion than at standstill.

Here are a couple new photos of the F34 3-series GT in testing runs on the streets. The 3-series GT will offer a simple hatch function rather than the twin trunk arrangement on the 5er GT. Spotted here is a 6 cylinder turbo version (335i or 335d).

We’re excited to bring you the first spy photos of the 3-series Gran Turismo (GT) which will be released with the next generation of 3-series vehicles. With a sleek trunkline and frameless windows, the 3-series GT looks to be much lower and sleeker in shape than the 5-series GT and appears to be generally sportier in nature. Here are some new renders of the next generation 2012 F30/F32 3-series coupe and sedan. Like the current generation, the coupe and sedan will continue to sport unique designs. The next generation 3-series is expected to grow slightly in size and wheelbase, but feature even shorter overhangs to preserve its sporty stance and style. The front fascia is expected to become more upright, consistent with BMW’s latest design language seen in the current Z4, F10 5-series, and F01 7-series.

The F32 3 series coupe is expected to … CONTINUED
