BMW today announced new BMW M Performance Parts specially designed for the new 2012 BWW 3 Series Sedan and 2011-2012 5 Series Sedan. Like the BMW M Performance Parts already available for the high-performance M3, 1 Series M Coupe, X5 M and X6 M, the components developed for 3 Series and 5 Series models ensure an authentic transfer of BMW M-specific motor racing technology to everyday driving.
This new line of accessories provides a distinctive, sporty character to further enhance driving dynamics. Here’s a new feature video highlighting the BMW M Performance Parts equipped Afrox-ADF Motorsport F30 335i series race car.
Have a look at a Frozen Silver F10 M5 fitted with BMW M Performance Parts, in black and carbon fiber. The parts provide a nice contrast against the beautiful matte silver exterior and gives the M5 an even sportier character by de-chroming.
The carbon fiber trunk spoiler (which the owner replaced the factory spoiler lip with), the sideskirts (which replaces the flared factory M5 sideskirts) and kidney grilles are all from the new M Performance Parts lineup. This M5 has also been fitted with gloss black gill trim and the exhaust tips have been blacked out.
At the Malaysian launch of the new F30 3 Series, BMW showcased a 328i partially adorned in some M Performance Parts.
As we can see, not all F30 M Performance Parts are featured here, with the exterior aero kit parts missing (M Sport bumpers, carbon fiber front splitters, carbon fiber mirrors, sideskirts, trunk spoiler, and rear diffuser).
Featured however are the the M Performance gloss black grilles, M Performance racing stripes, 20″ Style 405M M Performance wheels, M Performance brakes in orange (4 piston front, 2 piston rear, and which also come in yellow and red) with 370mm brake discs.

The official specs and photos of the first F30 3 series race cars have now been released. The twin F30 race cars by ADF Motorsport will debut on March 31st in the WesBank Super series and will go on to race in the upcoming 2012 24 Hour Nurburgring race. These F30 cars feature the new line of BMW M Performance Parts and these specs:

BMW launched and announced its initial M Performance Parts lineup officially at the 2012 Geneva Motorshow. While the now released M Performance Parts official catalog explains much, we took some time to find out some more details for you. M Performance Parts are now available for the new 1 series, 3 series, and 5 series. There are many different product categories like exhaust systems, engine tuning, drivetrain, suspension, and interior/exterior. We develop these parts together with the engineers of M GmbH. In this video, the Product Managers of BMW’s new M Performance Parts retrofit accessories explain and show us the philosophies, process, and techniques behind the development of the BMW M Performance Parts. As one can see, the M Performance Parts are developed in collaboration with BMW M designers and engineers for both visual and performance enhancements.
As soon as the production vehicle process is completed, the technical sketch and design phase for M Performance Parts begins. Only real carbon fiber is used in the production of M Performance Parts components.
