In 2013, the new BMW X5 celebrated its market launch. Now in 2014, there is another reason for the new SUV giant to celebrate, because the tuning experts at AC Schnitzer have taken it into their workshop to give the third generation X5 a facelift. The result is a vehicle which can scarcely be equalled in terms of power, sporting performance and superiority – and the AC Schnitzer version will be presented for the first time at the 84th Motor Show in Geneva from 6th to 16th March.

Here’s an extended road trip report by one of our F15 X5 owners of his F15 X5 xDrive35i xLine.
The X5 eDrive plug-in hybrid model has now been spotted undergoing testing. These may only be a couple of photos, but we already know what the F15 X5 looks like. We expect the X5 eDrive to launch sometime around late 2014 – early 2015.

Hamann wheels certainly have a way of fitting in well with the bigger vehicles in the BMW stable, and look right at home on the new X5.
For now, Hamann is showing off two styles of their wheels on the X5, namely the Design Edition Race “Anodized” 23 inch wheels and the “Anniversary EVO” 22 inch wheels.
But rest assured, Hamann is certain to later unveil a full range of wheels and “optik tuning” kits.
