BMW i8 testing continues and this prototype is the most revealing we’ve seen yet.
The thick rear camouflage has been dropped to reveal the production model’s rear shape and design. It mostly retains the look of the i8 concept model. We also get a look at the turn signals, reverse light position and the LED bars of the tail lights. The front now reveals a large portion of the headlights.

The reveal of the all new 2014 BMW X5 (F15) is imminent, but testing continues on the F15 X5 M.
Testing on the F15 X5 M began last year [first sighting], but current mules have now dropped much camouflage. What’s revealed are the expected signature M components – huge front air intakes, aggressive sideskirts and rear diffuser, blue M brakes, and cross drilled rotors (the first for any X5 model). Just days ahead of the start of the new DTM season, BMW Team Schnitzer driver Bruno Spengler (CA) already has his first race at the Hockenheimring (DE) under his belt – although it did come at the wheel of a somewhat alien car to the Canadian. BMW Motorsport invited the reigning DTM champion and 1989 winner Roberto Ravaglia (IT) to a very special “Generation Game”.
