First 1/4 mile run with the 135i
I went to Capitol Raceway yesterday and got a few "baseline" runs. Car is bone stock except for a Cobb Stage 1 flash. Let me know if this is good and what I can improve on. Car is an automatic with the Msport package.

Looks like a solid time and trap speed. Did you start in second? I heard that helps with the launch. You might be able to bring that 60 down. I didn't know the track was still open. I might try going soon then

Looks like a good run. I will be picking up a low mileage 09 135i AT M-Sport in June and plan to have fun with it at the local track too. Already looking at upgrades...
What made you go with the Cobb vs JB4?

I started in 1st for all of the runs. I should try starting at 2nd next time up it might help with the 60. I figured also this would be the best i could get given that it was mid 40s that day on the stock run flats

I went with Cobb just because it is easier to install and I've had experience with it with my previous car, Mazdaspeed3.

Every time I try to do a 0-60 run, I always get killed by that stupid lag from the drive by wire system in my DTC. (around a .5-1 second delay when accelerating from a stand still)
Still can't get rid of it with the transmission software update or resetting the adaptive throttle stuff... |

That's a pretty good baseline, op. My ETs were in the 12.7-8 range at 112ish when I was running basic bolt-ons (OTS Cobb tune, intake, intercooler, & downpipes).

Thanks man. 12s isn't bad either on your run. I figure that with a better set of tires and traction i should drop that 60ft down to around 1.8 and hit mid to high 12s

Tires and e85 are the biggest difference makers in my experience. I went back with the only difference being NT555Rs and an e48 tune and managed an 11.9x @114mph on a soft 1.9 60ft. Promptly blew my stock turbos that very night haha.

WOW! Some nice times here!
My car bone stock N55 hit 13.7 @ 103MPH. This was with the stock runflats and my first time at the track! I tried launching it 3 ways and all ended up around the same. Tires are limiting me, spun too much. Temperature outside was 7C and track was slippy, launches weren't grippy unless i rolled into it slowly |

I think you have a solid 12 second pass with a good 60' time.
Our 2009 ran a best of 13.48 @ 100mph on factory run flats with 1.9x 60'. Change to Kumho KU39 265/35/18 tyres put times back to 13.6 @ 99mph. Recently fitted JB4 and DCI and was pleasantly surprised to drop to 12.9 @ 107mph with a couple of 1.84 60'. 60' times achieved by bring engine up to ~2,000rpm on the brake and bouncing in. |

Just came back from 1/4 mile strip, did 13.2 @ 107MPH. Jb4 Map 5, Charge pipe, Intake, N55 engine. Michelin pilot super sports
It was 90F however with 60% humidity. So im happy with what i did! Clutch did start to slip on the 6th run tho, so i stopped after that |

I'll most likely be hitting the strip again this coming friday depending on work schedule. Now with DP and FMIC and Stage 2+ on the COBB OTS. So we'll see.
