How do I “creep” with the DCT?

Hey y'all! I just picked up my 2016 SO/SO M3 and have an embarrassing question: is there an easy way to do a low speed creep? When I park in my garage and I just want to go forward a couple inches...is there an easy way to do that? When I tap the accelerator, it makes me a bit nervous as it lurches rather than creeps. Thanks!

Lightly tap the gas pedal.

I guess I deserved that. My last car was a Chevy Volt...so you can only imagine the big changes I'm dealing with!

I wasn't being sarcastic - honest. There is a creep mode. To use it you have to lightly and quickly tap the gas pedal. Once you get it the first time you'll get the hang of it.

This.

Make sure you don't try to practice enabling creep for the first time while you're putting the car in the garage.

Garage List
What Rick said. Practice when you're not in the garage! Very lightly tap the accelerator, hardly any pressure. The car will start to creep forward. Keep your left foot resting lightly on the brake pedal while doing this, just for added piece of mind, until you get the hang of it. It does take some practice and you need to be comfortable with the process before trying it with something in front of the car.

(Apparently I took too long typing this...)
