Maybe I am missing something, but couldn't a 128i M-Sport bumper be used? My 128 M-sport has small round fog lights at the outside edges. It also appears that there is ample air flow into the breaks and whatever else is back there.

I know this thread has been dead for awhile. But I want to know if anyone figured out the front foglight wiring? I want to buy the 128i Euro switch that has buttons for front and rear fogs. Anyone sucessfully wire fogs into the front fog button?

I'm getting a new 135i coupe next week. And I live in San Francisco, in a very foggy part. And foglights are very useful here, and not just for looks or being seen by others either. I had yellow fogs on my outgoing E30 and it made a valuable difference when driving through the thick foggy soup.

I have a new PIAA 980 dual lamp kit that would fit nice in the bottom corners. Two small rectangles similar to the look of the small ovals on the fogs on the late model E-Class and ML (non-led). Since I bought a 2012, the grille is a little different down there pre-2011, because it doesn't have specific ports for the ventilation. Its all one large intake. So I think it wouldn't be a big deal to block 25% of it for the fogs.

Has anyone figured out the front fog wiring to the 128i euro switch, on the 135?

Yes it’s possible to wire up using the 128i or in my case 335i switch as they came with fog lights here in Australia. You will need to wire up two connectors to the frm and do a bit of coding! I have done mine already and works 100%

Hopefully he figured it out in seven years.
