BMW Group sales reach all-time high in the month of June. Deliveries increase by 15.9% to 165,855 vehicles in June
Best first six months ever with 833,366 units sold
Record sales in first half year for all three brands.
Munich – July 7, 2011… The BMW Group delivered more vehicles in June than ever before in a month. A total of 165.855 BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce brand vehicles were sold, which is an increase of +15.9% on sales in June last year (prev. yr. 143,156 units) … CONTINUED
An XBIMMERS member has put together the first matte F25 X3 we have seen. This X3′s body has been wrapped in matte white and the grilles and rails are wrapped in matte black. The result is one custom looking X3 with its body lines showing more prominently due to the now low reflection body.

AC Schnitzer has taken the wraps off of its BMW X3 customization program, featuring both cosmetic and performance enhancements.
The X3 xDrive20d has been bumped from its standard 184hp to 218hp. A power upgrade for the xDrive30d, 28i, and 35i are also in the works and will be released later this year.
As for cosmetic enhancements, the AC Schnitzer X3 kit features front lip spoiler with integrated splitters, chrome trim for the side skirts, a rear diffuser bumper, rear roof spoiler and exhaust tail pipes.
German publication AMS decided to pit two popular diesel SUVs against each other — the BMW X3 xDrive 30d against Audi Q5 3.0 TDI Quattro or 258hp/413 lb-ft inline-6 vs 240hp/369lb-ft V6.
The outcome is that both cars are similar in many ways, but the BMW X3 manages to get the edge and wins this comparison. Details inside.
In case you missed it, the BMW Performance Parts Manager recent revealed that the BMW Performance Power Kit will soon be coming in two stages, for both the N54 and N55 motors. Stage 1 PPK will be software upgrade only and Stage 2 PPK will be software and hardware upgrades.
Over 52 teams from 21 European countries competed in the recently concluded BMW X3 Games 2011. Over 15,000 registrations entered for this contest of physical and sports events in Geneva to win three new BMW X3s (for the winning team). The 6 disciplines in which the contestants competed were: running, golf, skiing, driving, mountain biking and sailing.
In the end, it was team from Hungary who each went home with a brand spanking new X3.
