A lucky customer attending Goodwood Festival of Speed over the weekend had a chance to test drive the F10 B5 Bi-Turbo around a track. Check out the walkaround and some of the furious acceleration from this 500+hp / 700tq monster F10. You can actually hear the rear passenger exclaim in delight during acceleration.

We knew it wouldn’t take long for 5POST members to begin customizing their F10 5-series… and so it begins! Here are teaser shots of Lacster’s F10 with new wheels, lowering springs, grills, painted reflectors and vinyl trim. One of the largest aftermarket suspension manufacturers in the world, Eibach, has developed a new set of suspension offerings for the new F10 BMW 5-Series.
Those familiar with Eibach will not be surprised to hear that they have developed a set of Pro-Kit springs and Pro-Spacer wheel spacers. This is a great start for 5-series enthusiasts looking to lower their cars for a sportier look and to simultaneously improve handling and dynamics of the car.

It seems the big tuner hauses in Germany have been increasingly in a rush to get their work on the newest BMWs out into the wild. The pattern for the last year or two has been that the tried and true wheels from each of these companies first appears on the car and is paraded around the internet while the company continues its work on the interior/engine and exterior styling parts, which would be revealed at a later date. And so, here is Hartge with their aptly named "Classic" set of wheels on the BMW 5-Series Sedan. Hartge "Classic" (Classic 1-3) wheels will be available ranging in sizes from 18-20" (20" pictured).

The Alpina B5 has always been a sort of special car, elegant, fast and distinctive all at the same time. Its no wonder that the upcoming Alpina B5 has had a pre-release following similar to a series BMW. The car has been tracked through development spyshot after spyshot, artists even attempted to render the car to guess at what it would look like. Thankfully, it seems the car is now set for its release and showing to the world at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (July 1 - 4, 2010).

Hamann has completed its work on the 5-Series GT and involves an impressive list of exterior and dynamic changes.
Their kit includes first and foremost a lowering kit for the models 530d, 535i and 550i (including air suspension).
The product range also includes a front spoiler to be mounted on the standard front spoiler of the series, side skirts and a rear spoiler in a ""subtle" or "striking" design. Both provide reduced lift force at the rear axle and thus considerably improve the driving dynamics. A new rear apron makes room for the HAMANN mufflers. The muffler system itself is composed of four stainless steel exhaust pipes measuring a massive 90 mm.
