BMW today announced a new M Performance exhaust system specifically designed as an accessory for the BMW M3 Coupe, Sedan and Convertible. With the racetrack and the street in mind, this new exhaust system is crafted from an extremely heat-resistant and lightweight chrome-nickel alloy called Inconel®. This flow optimized exhaust system reduces exhaust backpressure and allows the M3’s 414 horsepower V8 engine to produce an even more powerful sound.

G-Power, builder of some monster BMWs, has announced its plans to spec up the already lethal M3 GTS over 600hp through the use of its G-POWER’s SK II CS supercharger system. They will be working with a total of three M3 GTS, quite impressive considering only 220 M3 GTS are available.

Forced induction is everywhere it seems. From BMWs standpoint, those turbos go a long way to reducing fuel consumption while keeping the power right where we want it, so its a no brainer for them. The 2010 Essen Motor Show, Germany’s equivalent of SEMA, kicks off this weekend but the Manhart V8RS M3 E92 Biturbo has already been spotted. The heart of this M3 has been replaced with the X6M’s S63 motor and bumped up to 734PS (724hp) / 870Nm torque! No exact details yet on the modifications made to achieve these numbers, but we will post them when released.
