The final race of the 2012 DTM race season took place on October 21, 2012 at the Hockenheim Ring. Early morning that day, four of ///M Flight members set off on a 1.5hr trip from Kaiserslautern to Hockenheim Ring. The trip was courtesy of Akrapovic.

2012 DTM Champion Bruno Spengler was busy kicking butt and becoming a champion during the recently concluded DTM season, but found time at the Dingolfing DTM race to mingle with fans and give joy rides in the DTM M3 Safety Car.
From the look on the fans’ faces, there was plenty of joy provided champion racer’s rides.

We’ve all viewed the wild street driving videos that come from Russia while wondering when we would see a wreck. These pics and videos from a BMW M Club drive in Russia show that you can’t beat luck forever when driving recklessly.
The incident occurred this past May and the wreck resulted in damages to an E92 M3 coupe, 1M coupe, E34 M5 and E46 M3, which received the worst damage, as seen below. A Subaru wagon was an innocent victim and was also totaled. Pics … CONTINUED

Since their first event in May of 2011, their events have grown from five cars and sharing the track with motorbikes to almost 50 cars and renting the entire track exclusively for the Club. Unfortunately the BMW thefts in the UK continue. Using the security flaw on the OBD Port which allows key cloning on the spot, a group of thieves managed to steal away an M3POST member’s E92 M3 coupe.
BMW UK has started flashing cars with a software update to prevent theft using this method. A link to the details can be found inside.

The Rimac e-M3 has now been acknowledged as the fastest accelerating electrical vehicle (EV). Its record breaking run, which happened in April 2011, has now been confirmed and acknowledged by the FIA. The electric E30 M3 covered the first eighth of a mile in 7.549 seconds and the quarter mile in 11.808 seconds).

We haven’t spotted the F82 M4 Coupe at the Nurburgring since July, when the F82 was spied for the very first time in public testing. Well, it’s now back at the Ring during an onslaught of BMW prototype testing in the past week, including the F80 M3, F82 M4, F36 4 Series Gran Coupe, F15 X5 M, 3 Series GT, and the M6 Gran Coupe.
