Any M3 GTS fans out there? If you are, you’ll be sure to love this video of six M3 GTS and a supercharged G-Power M3 GTS running at the Nurburgring.
The limited edition M3 GTS, which was available only in Europe, featured 450bhp, with a weight of 3278lbs.
The G-Power M3 GTS adds forced induction to the factory GTS via a supercharger. The regular version pumps out 635hp / 630Nm torque, while the Tornado RS version is good for a 720hp and 700Nm of torque!
This must have felt like Christmas for the folks at Autobild. Autobild knows what it takes to have a great story and has done a special edition on BMW M models, called “Fascination M.” In this special comparo, Autobild gives an overview of all current BMW M models as well as interesting insights into M GmbH. Most interestingly, Autobild pitted all (yes, all) currently available M models against each other on a German race track named Sachsenring.
The outcome? As you’d expect, the M3 CRT (it’s sold out but more info here) is the fastest M car Autobild has ever tested on Sachsenring as it clocked a 1:38.87 minute laptime (the M3 GTS isn’t available no more). An amazing second place goes to the brand-new F10 M5 … CONTINUED
Four members of M3POST were gathered recently for an epic photo and video session. The session was particularly unique because of the cars involved. No less than four white M3s were in attendance, each featuring BBS LM wheels and three with ESS superchargers. The result was some spectacular photos and a heart thumping video.
Check out the photos and video inside.
Some M3POST member’s supercharged M3s have set the quarter mile trap speed record on street tires. The M3s were supercharged with ESS 535 (DCT) supercharger, ESS 625 (6spd) supercharger, and AA Stage 2 supercharger and DCT.
The runs were made at Atco Raceway in some cool temperatures (45 degrees F).
1SICKM managed a trap speed record of 125mph and ran times of 11.6 and 11.8. Akh23456′s M3 managed even faster 1/4 mile times in 11.2 – 11.3.

The BMW M Power Tour swept through Colombia in July, as part of the M Power Tour for Latin America. The event featured 3 days of M nirvana, with track time available in a total of nine M cars – as drivers or passengers in the thrill rides provided by BMW’s driving instructors.
The nine M cars featured BMW M’s latest and greatest – the BMW 1M coupe, the M3, the X5 M, and the X6 M.
Check out incredible looking experience in the video inside. Thanks to our good friend, Bimmerpost member, and veteran BMW driving instructor, Donnie Isley, for the video. Donnie headed up the M Power Tour in Latin America and if you’re familiar with him, you’ll see him make several cameos throughout the … CONTINUED
Some weeeks ago we brought bring you the very first video of the 2013 BMW M3 sedan internally dubbed F80. We’ve now posted the first footage of F80 M3 prototypes on and around the Nurburgring and conducting high speed performance runs!
As you’d expect from an M3, the F80 prototype looks very planted and stable while being pushed around the Nurburgring. The video provides the best listen yet at the F80′s engine/exhaust noise. And although we can tell with certainty that it’s powered by a 6 cylinder engine (to be turbocharged), it’s difficult to discern whether the engine is an inline or V configuration. BMW M CEO Dr. Nitschke recently stated that they wouldn’t do a V6, but we’ve also been tipped otherwise.
The number and type of … CONTINUED
iND continues to push the M3 project tuning benchmark higher with their latest build – the Green Hell Portfolio Project M3. IND’s Green Hell Portfolio Project car was first conceived as a concept immediately following their amazing journey to the home of all European motorsport and BMW’s own home country, Germany. Their yearly pilgrimage to the promised land served as fuel to inspire the original Green Hell project, a car that was built as homage to all things racing and the Nurburgring in particular.
Check out this amazing new M3 build inside, with all the gorgeous eye candy we’ve come to expect from iND!
Exciting news! After several sets of spy shots, we’re happy to finally share the very first spy video of the 2014 M3 Sedan, internally dubbed the F80. As usual, this video provides a much more dynamic impression of the car than photos. No surprise that the new M3 looks very planted as it’s sitting fairly low and shows no body roll in these (admittedly) urban driving scenes. Overall, the M3 with its M bumpers and bulging wheel arches looks pugnacious and much more aggressive than the F30 3-series in the F30 spy photos/videos.
What’s new in this video besides the live view and sounds? Looking at the F80 from behind, you can finally make out the limited slip differential and two mid pipes running from the engine … CONTINUED
Some say the BMW M3 is beginning to show its age, especially considering the all-new F30 3-series has already been spotted in testing. As far as performance is concerned however, the E92 M3 coupe continues to impress and dispose of even recently introduced competition, such as the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe. Many pegged the C63 AMG coupe to give the M3 a run for its money, if not overtake it. Remarkably however, both AMS and Autobild recently ran comparisons between the two super coupes and came to the same conclusion: The M3 still is the better car.
Per Autobild, the “M3 won as it’s sportier and produces more fun”, or as AMS puts it, “afterall it’s the level of maturity which makes the M3 the better car”.
AMS … CONTINUED
