BMW M always claims that it subscribes to no dogmas while considering all possibilities in developing new models. That now includes the possibility of all-wheel-drive M5 and M6 models.
In a recent interview with Motoring, BMW M CEO Dr. Friedrich Nitschke acknowledges that “I’ve looked at the numbers and 70 to 80 percent of E63 AMGs are all-wheel drive in the US now.”
He then confirms that: “On our cars we are thinking of all-wheel drive, but it won
BMW Canada has announced some M5 and M6 limited production models, available in Frozen Black and Santorini Blue II.
They also include black kidney grilles, side markers, door handles and 20″ wheels. On top of this, they add M Performance Titanium Exhaust.
Production begins in November and December.
