Here's a great throwback look at how the iconic E39 M5's suspension and brakes were developed in the late 1990's with the help of a dynamic testing rig. The rig accelerates and decelerates while the wheels are turned and brakes applied by a human operator.
This F90 M5 prototype was just spotted in LA and recorded on video. It's the first reported F90 M5 sighting in the U.S. since a prototype was spotted entering the US at the Los Angeles International Airport (photos reposted below).
